Born in Lebanon and raised in Sydney's western suburbs, DJ Micke grew up at the centre of the city's Arabic and Lebanese wedding scene — first as a guest, then as a teenager hauling cables for older DJs, and from 2010 as a professional DJ and MC in his own right.

That cultural grounding is the difference. He doesn't just play Arabic songs from a playlist — he knows the lyrics, the dialect nuances between Lebanese, Egyptian and Khaleeji tracks, when to drop a Wadih El Safi classic for the parents and when to flip to an Arabic-house edit for the cousins. The bilingual MC work runs in fluent Arabic and English so every guest, from tete & jiddo to the under-30s, feels part of the night.

Outside the cultural fluency, the operation is built on the basics most DJs cut corners on: premium QSC and RCF sound, intelligent moving-head lighting, wireless mics, backup gear on every truck, and a planning conversation in person, by phone or on Zoom for every single booking.
